As-Salam alaykum wa RahmatulLah wa Barakatuh!
All praise is due to Allah (SWT), the Lord of all creation, who has granted us the gift of knowledge and the blessing of another fulfilling academic session.
It is with a heart full of gratitude and pride that I reflect on the journey of our schools in the 2024/2025 session. Mimbar Children School and Mimbar College are run as a group Muslim faith-based institution committed to raising morally upright, academically sound learners aged 1 to 16, our vision remains firmly rooted in;
Muslim school of choice weaving academic excellence with the highest Islamic morals and ethics.
By the grace of Allah, this session has been marked by significant progress. All our students who sat for the UTME; eleven in SS3 and five from SS1 and SS2 achieved commendable scores ranging from 224 to 329 with the highest score obtained by the Head Girl who was enrolled in the school from Grade 1 in 2011. We also secured more approvals for key external examinations, reflecting the academic rigor and preparedness of our students. We are especially pleased to highlight the successful acquisition of Mimbar Children School structure. These milestones are testimonies of a seamless, faith-driven educational journey from toddlerhood to adolescence – Alhamdulillah!
Our learners have not only excelled in academics but have also demonstrated growth in character, spirituality, and service. From Qur’an memorization to adab (etiquette) training, and from leadership activities to community impact programs, we are nurturing future leaders grounded in Islamic values. Yet, this session also came with its challenges. Like many schools nationwide, we have felt the impact of the japa syndrome, as some of our talented teachers migrated in search of opportunities abroad while not a few opt out of teaching completely in view of the declining purchasing power since 2023. Additionally, the rising cost of running a quality school; from utilities to resources, has stretched our operations. However, we remain committed to upholding excellence without compromising our mission or the trust you have placed in us.
To our esteemed parents and guardians, your continued support and partnership are deeply appreciated. To our devoted staff, may Allah reward your efforts. And to our dear students; you are our pride and our future. May Allah (SWT) bless your journey and make you leaders of khayr in your generation.
As we close this session and look toward the future, we pray that Allah continues to guide our path, strengthen our resolve, and increase us all in beneficial knowledge, wisdom, and taqwa.
